Background

Cryptocurrency trading bots are computer programs that create and submit buy and sell orders to exchanges based on the rules of a pre-defined trading strategy. For example, a very simple trading bot might be programmed to sell Bitcoin when its price reached a certain threshold.

In short, crypto trading bots enable trading based on data and trends—not on emotional impulse. Ultimately, this usually grows their profits, minimizes their risks, and limits their losses across exchanges. Furthermore, bots can produce passive income 24 hours a day. Whether you’re sleeping, biking, giving a presentation, whatever: you could also be earning from automated trades.

But how do you know which trading bots to use? What if you don't understand crypto at all? What happens when you have multiple exchanges set up and no clear way to manage them except for logging into each one separately and tracking trades from there? Cryptocurrency should be easier to manage - for day traders and beginners alike.

What is Stacked?

Stacked offers new ways to invest in cryptocurrency by offering stacks of trading bots for those who trade regularly. A trade bot marketplace makes it easy to get exposure to algorithms and automate a portion of day trading (if desired).

According to UX teammates, users currently go to other services such as coingeko or coinmarketcap to learn more about tokens
There is no view for easy asset management
Design a portfolio view to see what is in trade, what is not, the value, net changes, and actions to move assets into trade

UI Kit

After collecting a moodboard of images that I liked and that fit the theme of the platform, I went on to designing a UI kit to be used in the frames for the desktop and mobile application. This UI kit included color, typography and font sizes, selectors, iconography, navigational elements, charts, pre-built components, form selectors, and a few small interactions.
